# Mountain Roads > Mountain Roads is a motorcycle-road discovery, route-planning, and group-ride coordination app built around a curated database of riding roads. Mountain Roads helps riders find roads worth riding and connect them into practical motorcycle routes. Public road pages include mapped geometry and may include descriptions, region and surface information, ratings, motorcycle suitability, and elevation profiles. Riders can build routes manually or request an AI-assisted one-day route grounded in the curated road catalog, add stops and fuel planning, import or export GPX files, save and share routes and collections, and organize public or private scheduled rides with invitations and RSVPs. Road details, elevation profiles, generated routes, and ride plans are informational. They are not turn-by-turn navigation or live road, weather, closure, construction, or safety information. Riders should verify current conditions and use appropriate navigation and judgment. ## Public entry points - [Home](https://mountainroads.com/): Overview and primary navigation. - [Road map](https://mountainroads.com/map): Browse and filter the curated motorcycle-road database. - [Create a route](https://mountainroads.com/routes/new): Choose manual or AI-assisted route planning. - [Scheduled rides](https://mountainroads.com/rides): Browse publicly listed group rides. ## Main capabilities - Discover curated motorcycle roads on an interactive map. - Filter roads by region, surface, rating, and motorcycle suitability. - Inspect mapped road geometry, notes, ratings, and elevation profiles where available. - Build editable routes from roads, places, shaping points, and stops. - Plan fuel stops using a rider-supplied conservative motorcycle range. - Import GPX tracks and export completed routes as GPX files. - Save, organize, share, and copy routes and route collections with an account. - Schedule public or private rides, invite riders, collect RSVPs, and communicate ride updates. ## Access notes Public map content, public routes and collections, public rider profiles, and public scheduled rides may be viewed without an account.
